We know New York City quite well, having been several times previously, so this 5-night trip was a bit different.
It was mine and Danny’s second visit together and with little date flexibility, we pretty much knew what we were after.
The one thing considerably lacking was time – enter Sheena.
We asked Sheena to see what she could research and what deals may be available. We were set on the New Yorker Hotel as it’s in a great location close to several subway stations, but I asked Sheena to provide us with some alternatives for comparison.
Not only was she able to get us the best price, including excellent premium economy flights with Virgin and Delta, but she also managed to include little extras, such as reserving seats on the plane together.
We travelled around by subway using a great-value weekly pass. There were so many highlights, but our favourites were the Summit One observation deck, eating at a rooftop bar on Roosevelt Island watching the Manhattan skyline and the Brooklyn Brewery tour.
Although we needed less advice for this trip, it was still lovely to have the personal touch! Sheena checked we had everything we needed beforehand and that it went well once we returned.
She just makes everything so easy!
